PPC listings are  typically designated as <strong>sponsored  listings</strong> and <strong>appear above and to the  right of the organic results</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Regardless of your  SEO success you should also use PPC as a primary method to promote your Web  site.<span id="more-311"></span></strong></p>
<p>If you <strong>think of the  search results page as a piece of real estate</strong>, a powerful strategy is to  get your Web site onto that piece of property as many times as you can.</p>
<p>The largest and <strong>most  popular PPC</strong> advertising platform is <strong>Google  AdWords</strong>, but competitive platforms are available through Yahoo Search  Marketing and MSN adCenter.</p>
<p>The most common form of targeting is <strong>geo-targeting</strong>, which allows you to display your PPC ads in specific  geographical regions. It’s especially effective for regional businesses and can  be used as a strategy to test various regional markets.</p>
<p>Another popular form of targeting is called <strong><em>dayparting</em></strong>,  which involves showing you PPC ads only during specific times of the day or  week.</p>
<p><strong>Writing effective ad  copy</strong> means using compelling language that separates your ads from the  competition, entices people to click, and contains a high conversion rate.</p>
<p><strong>Keep in mind that you  will be charged for all clicks in real time.</strong></p>

Most website owners don&#8217;t even know what all those terms mean, but  our society is so online driven that we hear new terms and words through  friends and media daily.</p>
<p>More surprisingly website owners  don&#8217;t realize, that if you want a professional to help you <strong>gain positions in  your rankings and create incoming traffic to your website</strong>, that the cost can be up  to triple the cost of your website.<span id="more-284"></span></p>
<p>In fact the cost of creating a  website is only a fraction of the search engine optimization cost. A SEO professional  will estimate you the cost of website optimization from $4000 to $5000 a month.  Of course this cost depends on the size of your website.</p>
<p>There are companies that offer advice and recommendations starting from  $200-$400 a month. This cost is very reasonable if you&#8217;re a small business and  you&#8217;re depending on online sales. I&#8217;d say this is rather an indispensable  service.</p>
<p>For smaller business owners who  don&#8217;t want to invest in such services, but rather, as I call them, DIY (do it yourself)  I collected a <strong>list of business networking sites</strong>.</p>
<p>This is if you&#8217;re serious about your business and about putting your name out  there, than you&#8217;ll have to spend some major time networking.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;re then quickly realize why professionals are charging these  amounts of money for their services.</p>
