Getting noticed on Google and How Google works!
In this post I just wanted to summarize what I once learned. Just basic SEO knowledge and Google understanding.
Google has an algorithm (with hidden criteria’s) that uses to evaluate websites and determine their relevance. The algorithm will score each website to determine how close it is compared with the ideal website. To collect information contained on the website it uses a program called spider. Not every site will automatically enter in its search result. This complex algorithm can and will detect any attempt to fool it and you’ll get penalized!
How to get on Top?
The only one sure way to the top of search engine is through unique content and relevant content.
Why is Google so important?
How many times have you heard “Just Google it!”? There you have the answer. More people use google than any other search engine. Google gets millions of enquires every day. If your website is among the top results for your niche, there is a large amount of targeted traffic that you can receive.
Why not just pay per click?
People are more likely to click on natural listings rather than pay-per-click. Although you can pay to get your website on the top, it is not as effective as having it appear there naturally.
People know that natural listings will tend to be more relevant to their search as they cannot be bought only earned.
The main benefit of natural listings is that they are free to earn and maintain.
What is organic SEO?
It’s the process of optimizing your website to appear higher in the search engine’s natural listings.
Optimize the following:
- Keywords
- Meta data
- Content
- Inward links
- Header tags
- Alt tags
- Internal structure
- Website structure
- Website theme
- Website code
